1. Can our process really be used to analyze any Contract? Do all Contracts answer the same Ten Basic Questions?
Given that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of different types of contracts, it may seem hard to believe that our process is truly universal and that it really can be used to analyze any Contract. However, over the past decade, the validity of our process and the Ten Basic Questions has been tested, re-tested, proven and re-proven on all types of contracts including licenses, leases, loans, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, employment agreements, consulting agreements, non-competes, operating agreements, purchase orders, supply agreements, waivers, settlement agreements, and releases, just to name a few.
In our seminars, we construct the logic proof as well as provide anecdotal evidence as to why our process and the Ten Basic Questions works with any Contract.
2. What are our seminars like?
Our seminars are fun, fast-paced and interactive and are based on your individual interests. They are generally structured as follows: first, we establish the Ten Basic Questions; second, we prove the validity of the Ten Basic Questions and our process; third, we discuss and examine the various answers to each of the Ten Basic Questions; and fourth, we apply the Ten Basic Questions and our process to analyze and negotiate a number of case studies.
3. How long are the seminars and where do they take place?
Depending on your goals, our seminars can range in length from one hour to three days depending on your goals. We can hold the seminars on site at your location or at our offices, whichever is more convenient for you.
4. What are the biggest challenges that you face in teaching this Process to attorneys and business people?
Believe it or not, because our process and the Ten Basic Questions are so easy to learn and apply, often times the biggest challenge that we face is coming up with complicated enough fact patterns and case studies to truly challenge our seminar participants.
